2.6. Categories
Categories are used to mark event types in the calendar (incl working hours, waiting lists and different appointments). Please see the Calcium documentation for more information.
All our calendars have a few standard category types (such as Do Not Book, Waiting List, Note, etc). This is used for the purpose of making the user functionality of the calendars more streamline, simpler and easy to understand, hence minimising confusion and the chance of error for our team.
