5.1. What is an Event Reminder?

An event reminder is a customisable email that can be sent at 1-2 set time intervals before the start date of the appointment. This can be sent either via email or SMS. If the appointment is not set up correctly, the reminder will not be sent.

Commonly this is sent at 1 interval, 24 or 48hrs before the time of the appointment with the following format:

"APP REMINDER: {appointment date} at {appointment start time} with {practitioner}. DO NOT REPLY to this SMS/Email! Contact {phone number} for changes.  Please note Xhr cancellation policy."

The Silent Partner strongly recommends you sign up to one of our SMS plans, as a SMS sent from the calendar will incur a cost of $1 per SMS unless you are on a plan.
